“Nice and relaxing place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 December 2011

This hotel is beautiful! Loved it!

The room is huge, beautiful and very comfortable. all the rooms have balconies, where you can enjoy a relaxing and beautiful landscape

The pool area is quite nice and the view is spectacular!

The pice was also veru good for seycheles.

The only drawback is that the steps we must climb to reach the front desk.

“Luscious garden, fantastic views”

Stayed in "Le Jardin des Palmes" just for one night as we needed to catch early flight.
Spectacular views and the garden is very tranquil. We had a good lunch , which was better than the average Seychelles standard, for a reaonsable price (again for Seychelles standard). Nice pool.
Staff friendly and helpfull (which is certainly not a given in Seychelles - overall we believe that, considering the large amounts of money, one will spend in Seychelles, service and food standards are lagging behind , compared to other parts of thw world, South East Asia in particular).
The rooms were completely in wood and have a somewhat "dark" atmosphere. But they were clean, and so was the outdoor shower.
We had a nice but shoort stay.

“A bit of paradise up on a hill”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 July 2010

The view from the room was the most magnificant i have ever seen in my whole life.
Great service, very clean, small but nice pool, ok breakfast, good food. A very charming hotel with jungle/paradise feeling.

The area, Anse la mouce, is a bit offside. But that isnt always bad. The bay offers good bath, without any other tourist, and the two restaurants in the village are one of the best i have ever visit. The fish is just perfect. Try black fish!

I will come back some day, i hope.

“Simple but needs updating”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 June 2010

This is a cute place up on a hill. But the area is not one to stay in, quite run down, no local beach worth going to, and no town nearby to enjoy either. So you are limited to this small resort with 12 rooms. Rooms are big, suitable for a family as they have a dividing door, and shower is outdoor which is nice, and a balcony with stunning views. The decor felt very 70's, it was clean but needed some updating, felt dowdy. We were there in quiet season so only one other couple was staying, we just felt like it was a bit out of the way and forgotten, as well as the owners hadn't done much to make the rooms feel like somewhere you wanted to stay in all day. We stayed here on our last night as had to get up to go to the airport the next day, which was about 20 mins away. So it was a good stopover place for us.

“A wonderful small hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 July 2008

This is wonderful small hotel with just 10 suites. The bay is at the end of the short drive, but the hotel is set on the hill above the bay. The rooms are large - double bed, sofa and chairs, fridge, TV and second sofa that can become a second double bed. There are 5 chalets each with two suites. Each suite has a decent balcony looking out to sea. There is a large bathroom with bath, and an inside/outside shower which has walls but a slated roof so there is total privacy but fresh air.

There is a pool, a nice bar and very good restaurant. The staff were really helpful.

The main beaches needed a car, but this was a really excellent hotel.
