I was lucky I was only staying here two nights. The hotel has a small air-conditioned lobby. There were three staff on reception and even though I was the only peson checking in at that time it took about 20 minutes to check me in. Check-out was also a lengthy experience.

The room as small. It had a tiled floor and a TV on the wall. There was air-conditioning. The bed was low down and hard to get out of. It was uncomfortable due to the sheets feeling like the canvas used for sails and the matress being thin. There would have been tea and coffee making facilities except the kettle wasn't working and all efforts to get the staff to replace it were ignored.

The bathroom was clean. It had no toiletries except a bar of soap. The towels had a sandpaper feel to them. Hot water supply was intermittent.

The restaurant was OK and the two staff there were friendly and helpful. The food was pricey and lacked any real quality. It was also scarce.

You stayed there in transit and we were disappointed small room for three with no space around the bed location of breakfast is terrible no light no decoration only positive point staff is ok so hotel relax inn is better for the same price

can you believe they seem to be extending the hotel by half and it's still open!!! there are windows missing down one side giving access stright on to building site. our room was small basic and smelt strongly of tobacco smoke there's nowhere to sit accept your room or reception there's no pool no bar and no garden it's your room or the street they do have wi fi but no computers to use .Male is strongly muslim so there's no bars and there was a mosque outside the hotel which seemed to have big speakers pointing directly at our room the wailing started at 5am plaese are they kidding.

After reading the reviews I was not sure what to expect so for my 22 day business trip to Male I only booked five days here. I just confirmed the next 17 days. The rooms are perfect for the business traveller. Bright lighting in the room, a TV that has a variety of channels, and the room was apparently painted (and painted carefully) not too long ago. The real surpise was a spotless (and obviously newly tiled) bathroom with a sink that holds water. Not a sign of the usual tropical mould one finds in many hotels. Wi-fi is free and works well. The beds and pillows are clean and comfortable. There is lots of work space on a well lit table. The wall sockets work - they even provide a plug converter and power bar. There is also lots of clean storage for my clothing - and my wife's when she arrives in ten days to join me. The staff are helpful and polite. The added bonus is a decent dining room with a great view and attentive service. While the breakfasts may be a bit pricey, I need not stop during the day to eat. It may not be a five star hotel, but neither is the price. In fact, with the lighting, access to electricity and free WiFi it is better than the lastcouple five star hotels I have stayed in.
