“great budget place for low key travellers”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012

Red Palm advertises itself as a 'non-party' hostel, so if you prefer to be in a quiet hostel, this is a great place. rooms are basic but clean and the staff are very friendly, making you feel at home. hot shower is a trickle but the cold shower on the ground floor has great pressure and useful after a hot day of walking around KL. Honestly, it was the staff and relaxed common area that made my visit. great place.

♥ I LOVE Red Palm! ♥

I am kind of missing the people there... The staff is sooo nice! I've been there twice and it's always perfect. First time, I was supposed to stay few days and I end up staying almost two weeks!

Really clean, comfortable, cheap, friendly and helpful staff, free wi-fi (working well in the bedrooms) a living room area where you can chill out and watch movies (or Indonesian's soaps... hahaha...) good breakfest included, free tea and coffee anytime, excellent spot, close to EVERYTHING : shopping malls, cafés, restaurants (food is just everywhere), public transport, monorail, bus terminal... If you stay in the dorm, of course, like every dorm in the world, bring your ear buds if you usualy don't sleep tight. Am I forgetting something?

Cause of Red Palm I have a home now in Kuala Lumpur!

Thank you sooooooo much Kamil, Sophie and Citie!

And, of course: see you soon! (^_^)

“Great Great Great!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012

Stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Kuala Lumpur. This is a cozy hostel aimed towards backpackers. Great meet up spot for those traveling alone, and the staff here is fantastic. They provide breakfast and sometimes dinner if you make it back in time. They will also tell you all the best places for your buck in KL if you're traveling on a budget

“Amazing Staff - and very comfy!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 January 2012

RED PALM was simply amazing. The location could not have been more ideal it was extremely convenient for the "hop on hop off bus" (which was right across the street). The staff made our stay incredibly comfortable and assisted us with our every whim. It was a short stay but they had so many activities for us to compact into the few short days. Thank you so much! We look forward to visiting again.

“best hostel ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 January 2012

this place is fantastic- i stayed there one night but wished i could have stayed more, so booked a night for my return one night stay in kl as well.

it's very homely and relaxed, the staff are all extremely friendly, and they're good, caring people. at the time i was there they took a pregnant cat off the street and helped her give birth in their house, and were taking care of her and the kittens, and taking them to the vet. they also have an in-house cat named speedy, who is one of the best cats i've ever met.

on my way back i was really ill and they were really lovely and took good care of me, which is treatment you don't often find at hostels where you're paying next to nothing.

strongly recommended!
