I think this hotel provide a very safe environment for the guest. I stay there and really enjoy the quiet and calm atmosphere. The food provided are came in many variety, all delicious and worth to try. the rate is also affordable :) maybe they need to make some makeover for the look from the outside. At first I kinda thought i enter a very lame hotel, but that is really not true.

We found out about this place from the promotions for Jusco members, and stayed over two nights for our short trip to KL over the New Year's Day long weekend.

Generally it is a simple establishment with rather decent and reasonable prices and delivery. We had booked 2 x 2-bedroom apartments (they call it the VIP suites, although "VIP" might sound kind of exaggerated) for our group of 7 persons and the apartments were pretty spacious, and offered views of the Petronas Twin Towers and the Menara KL from the Living Room and Master Bedroom. It was also pretty well-equipped, with even things like utensils and cutlery etc available in the apartment

As for the maintenance of the area, on first glance it looked pretty fine. However, we did find some ants and cockroaches in the kitchen area of the apartment during the stay. We also had some issues with the Master-Bedroom door, which could not be closed, as well as the toilet in the other bedroom, which failed to flush. However, to the staff's credit, they fixed the problems for us within a couple of hours after we had notified them.

Location-wise, this place is pretty OK if you do drive, like we did. However, if you do not, there might be a slight hassle if you have to take the MRT, as it is about 5 minute's walk away (troublesome if it rains), and it also does not go directly to the main part of town. Transfers and waiting times might therefore present some hassle and frustration.

Amenities-wise, there is a convenience store in the adjacent building. However, the pubs and KTV joints on the lower levels of the same building may cause some noise pollution and also we were not exactly comfortable with the hints of sleaze around the KTV joints.

Getting there:
If you are driving there for the first time, you may take sometime to look for the place. Beware as you make your way up the multi-storey carpark as the place is very narrow and the turning is really sharp. If you move around quite a bit, you will realise that it is quite near JUSTCO where you can do quite a bit of shopping.

Reception:
Quite polite and helpful when answering questions or rejecting a request.

VIP Suite:
We booked a VIP Suite for 2 nights. The place was really spacious but lacks warmth as there were no curtains in the hall and the floor was not carpeted.

There is almost 180 degree view, however, there is practically nothing much to see during the day as there are lots of constructions going on around. You can however, get a clear view of KL Twin Towers at night when the lights are up against the darken sky.

In general, the floor was clean but dusty and sofa was dirty . There is a microwave oven, mini-fridge for use. Air-con and TV control needs to be requested at the reception and TV reception is poor.

Even though housekeeping was done the following day, I realised that the bedsheets with a stain had not been changed.

Facilities:
On the 8th floor, you will find a swimming pool and a sauna. Good food is available at THE JUNCTION BISTRO.

We paid RM280 per night for the VIP Suite. This is probably acceptable if you are not too fussy and just need the basics. But if you want a little luxury in terms of class and comfort, I would not recommend this place.
