“not that nice”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

make sure you ask for a room with a window. the room is clean, not spacious though and on the the 3 first floors the air con is pre programmed, a very cold nightmare ! after the 1st night i asked for a different room, and we got one with a different air con system we could manage ! the staff isn't friendly, they do their job, no more. good location and quite, the most expensive internet service at the front desk though

Room Tip: ask for a room with a window

“Nice Hotel with Excellent Location”

Me and my wife stays here during our holiday in KL. The room its clean and comfortable. The price is also OK. Staff is friendly and help a lot since we asked lots of questions. From the hotel, you can just walk around to find lots of local restaurant and very closed to train station for KL City Center.

Room Tip: My suggestion to book a room from online like Agoda.com. You can save $3 per night after compare it...

“You get what you pay for”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 January 2012

I booked this hotel online while my transit back to india from australia. The good thing was hotel staff was helping and room was quiet comfortable. It could be small for a family though as I was travelling alone it was more than enough for me. The bad thing there was air conditioner makes it too cold at times. Somehow location is good as well as bad depending on our requirements. I felt the location to be fine as i knew its situated on extremely busy street, you may enjoy it or may get pissed off totally depends on your taste. The room was quiet clean and there were some noises though not too much. I find it value for money as its cheap and good.

“Creepy place!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 January 2012

- The room was very small and worned.
- Sheets and the whole room smelled cigarette smoke!
- You could hear every sound from the other rooms and hallway. (Very hard to sleep!)
- The worst hotel we have ever been in!
- Locations is not the best, specially at night-time, it gets really creepy.
- Not value for money!

“awful, noisy & unfriendly”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 December 2011
1
person found this review helpful

Hotel China Town Inn was a nightmare.

The walls are paper thin, meaning you will hear street noise and noise from other rooms. I barely slept for the one night I stayed because of other people in the hotel making so much noise in the hallways.

My room had no window, which is okay, but the airconditioning was central and not able to be controlled in the room, and so my room was incredibly cold. I slept wearing a sweater and socks. Also, there was no hot water.

For all of this the staff are unhelpful and incredibly unfriendly.

Definitely not worth the hassle, go somewhere else.

Room Tip: Go somewhere else.
