“Pleasant stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

Spent three nights at the Le Meridien....

On my previous visits, we have stayed at Hilton and Renaissance.
Hilton was very good, and we have decided to stay in the sisterhood hotel: le Meridien (just next door)

The bad:
- hotel has aged a little bit: wardrope doors were not clsoing properly,
- water pressure could be better in the shower
- bed not as king size

The good:
- location. Sentral is best for transport and going to the airport. In town check in for KLIA (Cathay, Malaysia Airlines)
- view from the pool (but it will change with the new construction)
- Mojito not too bad
- art around the hotel
- corner room was great: good view, and ok size (look a bit smaller than Hilton)
- view from the bathtub
- bed was comfy, but a bit small ( I am1,80m)
- club breakfast was great
- service: staff is always smiling and happy to assist

What we did:
- Tamarind Springs (restaurant a bit out of the way: 25mins in cab). Nice food
- Batu cave
- Islamic art museum (restaurant is good, and cheap)
- Towers,

Dear agregoire,

Greetings from Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur!

First of all than you for trying us out! And I am glad you enjoyed your journey in the Hotel. The transitional portal artwork is indeed a pleasant surprise when entering the Hotel and did you know this a concept developed by Le Meridien and available in all Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts. It really gives the Hotel a unique feature.

I am pleased to read our associates delivered our warm Malaysian hospitality and I appreciate your feedback on the rooms.

Thank you for your review and we look forward to welcoming you back at Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur

Warm regards,

“This hotel stinks”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

Room very small .This hotel is very old and you can see this everywhere.Easy connection to airport and nice ,but dirty pool.Staff friendly.I can recommend this hotel for one night stay only.If you need to go early mornining to the airport is ok otherwise choose something different.I stayed in Sheraton KL before move to Le Meridien and I think this is a shame for Le Meridien brand to keep this hotel.

“Lovely hotel, easy connection to airport”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012

We held a company conference this week at Le Meridien. The hotel is a little way out of the city centre but right next door to Sentral Station so easy to travel from the airport via the express train service. Rooms are nice, restaurant options include Latest Recipe cafe which has a great buffet for both breakfast and lunch. The lobby bar has live music in the evening and there is also a bar by the very attractive pool area which is lovely for relaxing.

Hotel staff are friendly and helpful but not quite as efficient or proactive as I have encountered at other hotels of this quality in other cities. Nevertheless a very good hotel for business trips to KL especially if, like us, your company is located in the KL Sentral area.

Room Tip: the side of the hotel overlooking the pool has a nicer view

“Great Breakfeast, stunning view”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 February 2012

Even if it's two station from downtown, this hotel is very luxurious and quiet, we enjoyed the suite and the premium buffet for a very reasonable price. The breakfast is amazing.

Room Tip: Try the Suite!

Dear Sikta P,

Greetings from Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur!

Thank you for staying with us and for your review. Indeed KL Sentral is a great location and it is booming as well. There isn’t a hotspot in Kuala Lumpur that you couldn’t get to in a few minutes.

I appreciate your comments and your kind words towards our teams.

We look forward to have the pleasure of welcoming you back.
