If the owners of this location could implement a MAJOR renovation while keeping the same amazing employees, this would be one of the best hotels in the area. But our stay was disappointing with regard to the cleanliness and condition of our room. The most disappointing areas were:

- Hallways: Dark, damp and humid, with scuffed up walls.

- Room AC: Humid, damp, and musty. This is a big pet peeve of mine. Having a room with an HVAC system that delivers dry, fresh air makes a big difference with regard to how clean it feels. Not air covered up with smelly, perfumy air freshener, but fresh, dry air.

- Room Mirror: The mirror in the room was nasty and looked like someone sneezed all over it, and it was never cleaned.

- Room Bathroom Toilet Paper: The toilet paper dispenser had 2 rolls crammed into it so tight that they wouldn't roll out. So when I took the roll out to fix this, small bits of popcorn fell out as well. ?????

- Room Bathroom Walls: The walls looked old and as if they were dinged up, and just painted over.

- Room TV: The TV glass had a big smear all over it. I don't know what it was, but it was never cleaned up.

- Dark Room: Overall the room was closed-in and dark.

- Desk Chair: Had lots of stains on it and was dark and dirty.

The carpet and bedding seemed relatively new, and all of the employees at this location were very friendly and service oriented. Someone just needs to come in here and gut the rooms and start from scratch.

Nice room and reasonably clean. Unfortunately the advertised pool was not available. No mention of that on the on-line reservation system, at the front desk at check-in, or even at the entrance to the pool. Planned an afternoon at poolside and ended up sitting in my room in my bathing suit watching TV.

I stayed here one night while I had business in the area. The staff was friendly. I had forgotten my hairspray and asked if they had a complimentary spray...and they did not. The breakfast was not very appealing at all!

A VERY nice hotel, off the busy road so very quiet, and lots of parking. Very warm greeting and welcome "gift" for being a Holiday Inn member. The room was excellent, beds very comfortable, and all areas extremely clean! Breakfast was the standard fare but very fresh warm foods, clean area, fresh fruit etc. Friendly hostess. Would highly recommend this hotel.
