I chose this location strictly on the motivation to earn more HHonors Points and boy did I regret it.
The room and hotel in general were obviously not well kept up. It appeared as if an attempt had been made to update, but the smell and overall feeling of the facility never caught up. The front desk staff was friendly when you could find them. None of them wore what I would have consider some type of uniform so you were never sure who worked there. And once they finished visiting with their family members that came by they eventually helped the customers.
I was not impressed with the breakfast buffet so I opted for the quick grab and go breakfast bags at the counter....too bad there weren't any!
The workout room albeit small had a nice flat screen tv, but that's about all I can say nice about it. The equipment squeaked and I shortened my workout for fear I would break the equipment further.
The kicker - Bed Bugs!! I had no indication whatsoever that this would/could be a problem. I stayed there three nights and it wasn't until after the third night that I noticed remnants of blood and bugs on the sheets. I immediately called the hotel manager up to my room to show her the evidence and checked out. They appropriately comped my last night's stay and I left feeling like I had been violated. The bites showed up several days later and I was covered with whelps for days. I didn't leave with a sense that this issue would be dealt with accordingly, but I didn't care since I will NEVER stay in this hotel again and I will NEVER recommend it to anyone.
