Some rooms have nice views - not all! Some rooms are right behind the lift shaft which is in constant use. Try to get a view and not be next to the lift shaft. The rooms also had a publication in English defending Japan's role in WWII - it didn't seem suitable. The hotel is western style, easy to reach walking from the station and just a short walk from Dejima Wharf which has several restaurants and bars. (Try the St Andrews Jigger Bar upstairs. Matsuo, the owner is a real anglophile and is great.) The hotel restaurant served either Western or Japanese breakfast with good coffee.
