Our first time to Japan, and the tour company arranged us to stay here for the first night in Japan. The tour company made the right choice, as it has made a pretty good impression for our first visit to Osaka, more so, Japan.
The hotel is located right in the middle of the Osaka city, food, shopping are just minutes away. Our stay was towards the end of winter, so walking around the Mido-Suji street is quite pleasant and nice.
Do take note that the hotel's lobby is not accessible by tour buses, other than cars, so unless one is using the cab (travelers to Japan), one would need to push the luggage across a lane, which when we arrived was quite busy.
Many cyclists around Osaka City and some of them ride the bikes really fast. So just got to be a bit careful.
Things I like about the hotel:-
1. The modern Japanese bathroom. Small and packed with many advanced features. I have heard from many friends about how convenience it is to clean, well, I experienced it now :)
2. Everything you need to stay like home, the bathroom provides everything, from hair shampoo, condition and body shower gel. Face wash was a pleasant surprise, made by SHISEIDO. I like the arrangement sequence, check it out when you are here.
3. Pyjamas, kind of nice. Maybe this is unique in Japan.
4. Food around the hotel & attractions. I like the neon lights billboards in Japan, just so unique in its own way. So one must come to Dotonbori, which is a large scale downtown along the south bank of the Dotonbori-gawa Canal. Osaka is known as the gastronomists' town, and thus the entire area of Dotonbori is thronged with an unbelievable number of restaurants and amusement facilities.
Well, hope this short review helps.
Enjoy your stay in Osaka!
