Very close to the train station and it is easy to get to major attractions from the hotel. Great staff that speaks English well.

This hotel offered a good price at a reasonable rating in a pretty quiet area of Osaka. The only virtue of the location is the 15 min walk to the minor castle and parklands of Osakajo. If you turn the wrong way you might end up in the red light distric, but the train link at Kyobashi is convenient. There is a multitude of cheap and reasonable eateries in an adjoining shopping complex, go there. Hotel os OK no complaints, just not very exciting and limited English speakers does not help. Value for money if you are just passing thru.

Good location - situated in the business park area of Osaka, nice surrounding, near Osaka Castle and easy access to majoy train lines around Kyobashi area.
Clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff.....didnt have any issue during my 4 nights stay.
The only area for improvement would be to have wireless internet access in lobby or room.

My husband and I enjoyed our 4 nights in this hotel. The location is just perfect for those who want to have some peace and quiet at the end of the day. The JR Kyobashi station and Osaka City Subway Kyobashi station are both walking distance from this hotel which means you don't need to take the taxi to get anywhere. There is Daiei supermarket very nearby which is great because you can buy lots of interesting Japanese goods which you can take back to your hotel room. We got a double room and it was more spacious than what we expected (just take a look at the photos I took). Both our room and bathroom were were squeaky clean every time we returned to the hotel. This hotel is truly great value for your money. Will definitely stay at Hotel Monterey La Souer Osaka again the next time we visit Osaka.
