Hotel is about 10-15 minute walk in any direction to trains, including a slightly sketchy walk back from Kyobashi on a weekend night. Rooms were decently priced. Staff tried their hardest to help with English directions. Not many food options in the immediate vicinity.

Considerations:
-Airport is actually 90 mins from Kansai airport by train, despite what the hotel website says
-Hotel wanted to charge Y1680 per hour for late check-out. Only place I've heard about in the world doing that!

The hotel is located in Kyobashi, which is very close to Osaka castle, and has direct train connections to main areas of interest and major train stations for airport access. It is near the business district so is fairly quiet in the evening, but doesn't have much choice for eating.

However, we had a really large room (particularly for Japanese standards) and large bathroom which was very clean, and we had a great view of the city from our room on the 21st floor.

Main criticism is that there are extra charges for internet access and use of their spa, even for hotel guests. Breakfast can be ordered at extra charge as well. They did not have a laundromat which was rather inconvenient as we had a long trip in Japan, and this is a very standard amenity in Japanese hotels so was particularly disappointed.

Very close to the train station and it is easy to get to major attractions from the hotel. Great staff that speaks English well.

This hotel offered a good price at a reasonable rating in a pretty quiet area of Osaka. The only virtue of the location is the 15 min walk to the minor castle and parklands of Osakajo. If you turn the wrong way you might end up in the red light distric, but the train link at Kyobashi is convenient. There is a multitude of cheap and reasonable eateries in an adjoining shopping complex, go there. Hotel os OK no complaints, just not very exciting and limited English speakers does not help. Value for money if you are just passing thru.
