I stayed here in summer 2010. Got a twin room for about 3,000 Yen per person (total 6,000 Yen a night). Got this offer from a Japan online hotel reservation site. The room is larger than I thought. I got a smoking room, since there aren't any non-smoking left when I book, but the room didn't smell at all (not sure if all are like this though). I was staying at the top floor (the floor above is the restaurant), I can see a very good view of Osaka, it is amazing! The decor of the room is not the best, but it is not bad. Free internet is available in the room but you need to bring your own LAN-cable. The front desk speak minimal English but they try their best to help, they are very friendly. I was able to leave my luggage at the front desk for a day for free. The location is good and the basement of the hotel connects to a subway station (very convenient!). Free buffet was included and it was amazing, lots of choices, Japanese and Western food and drinks.
