As other travelers have said, this hotel is well-situated near the train and bus stations. The room was large and comfortable, with a safe, LAN connection, mini-bar/fridge, coffee/tea and a good sized closet. I loved the sliding Japanese style window coverings, which provided either filtered light or complete darkness. Good shower, too.

We had vouchers for the breakfast buffet and found the food plentiful and varied. We got a particularly good laugh out of the aloe-flavored yogurt, which seemed to be one of the Activia standard flavors! We ate dinner twice at Checkers, once having the weekend buffet (with sushi) and once from the menu only. Both times the food was good. The wine list is a bit weak.

We had one drink at the Windows on the World bar, and if you go before 7 or 7:30, there is no cover charge. While pricey, the drinks were good and the view is lovely. The room can get quite smoky, even in the non-smoking section, so do beware if smoke bothers you.

The hotel staff were uniformly helpful and cheerful, particularly Jason at Checkers and the Malaysian front desk clerk (male) whose name I did not get. I'd stay here again for business or pleasure.

I chose this hotel because of its great location and because, unlike many Japanese hotels it had great gym facilities. I stayed here twice recently (Dec 2011 and Jan 2012) and I would definitely stay here again. The layout and position of the hotel mean that most rooms appear to have good views with the views from the upper floors being particularly stunning. The room was a good size and the bed and furniture were modern and in good condition. The staff were some of the most friendly and welcoming I have ever experienced. The location in Umeda was great. The KIX and other airport bus stop was right around the corner and the main Osaka train station is right across the road. There are plenty of shopping malls, restaurants etc in the vicinity as well as good metro connections. The gym was small but well set up with four treadmills, a standard and a recumbent bike, two cross-trainers and weights and machines etc. There is also a good swimming pool. The hotel area is not suitable for running on the streets. There was no free wifi unless you are on the executive floors. Overall the hotel is very impressive and while it is expensive I would definitely recommend it.

We just went from Tokyo and straight to this hotel with my wife, we arrived in the evening.
First impression is the huge lobby and the bedroom.
Only stay for one night at this hotel due we have to go to Kyoto the next day.
At breakfast time I need some milk for my coffe but at time the waiters couldn't notice me due it's was a busy morning, however this person helped me to get the milk and even he asked if there is anything I need. I said I'm good. It's was a great breakfast.
When we're trying to get taxi to Kyoto (we were using taxi due we have 3 luggages hehe..) this guy was really helpfull to arrange the transportation and even he helped me to put big luggage into the taxi.
He asked if there is any problem with hotel or what he could do to serve us even better, I said everything in this hotel is good but due he is working here the hotel is even better.
The person's name is Mr.Tadato Yamamoto (Chief Journey Ambassador & Hilton Hhonors Manager) who was really helpful.

I have stayed in the Hilton Osaka on several occasions and always find the service to be excellent and the rooms lovely, partiiculalry on the higher floors with spectacular views. Exec floors are worht it for the lounge access and extras when available. Great location with easy access to any of the train lines from Osaka and a limousine bus nearby for reasonable priced, efficient airport transfers. Breakfast is always of good quality. Be sure to have at least one drink at the bar at the top of the hotel Pricey, but the views are spectacular. Enjoyed my last stay as much as my first and will be back again.
