“Good location and hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

Got this hotel for 4 days mid-1/2012. Paid USD 60/night for economy double for 2 people. 25th floor facing Daimaru Dept store. Beautiful views.

Location: Hotel is across the street from Daimaru dept store, LV, Dior, Chanel, Gucci, Omega, and plenty of other high-end boutiques so rest assured location is in the best area of Shinsaibashi. 1 block from Shinsaibashi arcade, 5-min walk to Namba, plenty to eat, plenty to shop. Downstairs is direct access to Shinsaibashi subway terminal, a major convenience when arriving and departing.

Service: Excellent - requested air purifier, buckweat and memory foam pillows, humidifier, outlet converter. All came within minutes. Everyone is polite, as expected.

Room: Typical Japanese room, double bed, 35" Sony Bravia flatscreen, desk, hot tea. One chair and coffee table.

Bathroom: Typical Japanese bathroom, toilet w/ bidet, 1 sink, 1 shower/bath. Amenities include razor, toothbrush, comb, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, body wash sponge.

Now understand, this is Japan. Large rooms are atypical. If you are used the US hotels (the land of excess), then you will be severely disappointed. But for the price and location, I was more than happy. But then again, I'm the type of traveler that does not stay in the room much except for R&R. I spent most of my time walking around Shinsaibashi and Namba. Just as a point of reference for my taste in hotels, I've stayed at these hotels in the past: Tokyo: Keio Plaza Hotel, Grand Arc Hamzamon, Hearton Osaka; Seoul: Doulos, Novotel Gangnam; Beijing: Hotel Kapok; SF: Chancellor, Vitale, Grand Hyatt, Hilton, JW Marriot, Parc55, Westin Market St.; Seattle: Four Seasons; LV: Bellagio, Venetian, PH, MGM, Mandalay.

“3.5 stars ^_^. Solid if unspectacular”

The pros: Great location directly accessible from Shinsaibashi station. Clean, well maintained. Comfortable bed. Air purifier in room. Good, fast LAN connection in room. Reasonably sized bathroom with good shower. Location. Location. Location. Nothing really "bad" about this hotel

The cons:
Stayed on a Saturday night and had a breakfast coupon. On Sunday morning, the line for both restaurants was really long with a 30-45 min. wait for breakfast.
The rooms aren't much more than your standard Japanese budget/business hotel, while the price of the hotel is a class up from that. Bed, desk, TV. Not much character (simple white patterned wall paper, white bedding, white ceiling, gray carpet. There is coffee in the room (hooray! Japanese hotel rooms usually have green tea but most don't have coffee), but it is an in-cup filter drip and one cup costs 420 yen (about US $5). It's a small thing, but getting more than nickel and dimed on in-room coffee is disappointing when cheaper hotels give it to you for free (when they have it).

All in all, there hotel is fine. Good location. Clean. Unremarkable.

I stayed there for 2 nights,
Location-- is excellent, easily to get there from airport , and easy acess to subway and JR,
If you travel alone, it is safe to choose this hotel.
Shopping.-- you can get things back to hotel and go out for shopping again easily.
Room---single room(L floor) , comparatively bigger than single room in tokyo. free internet is available in room
Staff ---friendly and speak in good english, easy to communicate.
Also , they are helpful and make me feel I really am a VIP in the hotel.

Highly recommended .

“Very nice!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 January 2012

It's B2 leve directly leads you to Shinsaibashi station, so it is very easy to find and you don't have to walk too far at the end of your day trip, and coin laundry is right next door (if you need it). It's located right on the main shopping street. The LAN net is also very fast! Above that the lobby is refreshing and they are very nice. Very nice view at night.

Room Tip: Book it 14 or 28 days before on the website can get a cheaper rate.

“Best location by far in Osaka!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 December 2011

The hotel is located in the luxury shopping district , and is about 2 blocks for the main shopping district of Osaka. It's located exactly where you want to be when visiting Osaka. The common areas of the hotel are total 70's including the hotel room bathrooms. The main room was nice and updated, but you could tell they did not the expense of a total remodel. You can walk everywhere and the train station is about a half a block away, so no Taxi's.
