Probably the most professional staff of any hotel we stayed in our 5 weeks in Japan. English can be a problem, like in so many hotels in Japan, but there is always someone coming to the rescue. We stayed on the Executive floor and can only recommend it! Up there everyone speaks English, the service is great and the views are incredible. they must be the best in town (see photos). There is no fault we can find with this hotel - if there were one thing I would like to comment on, it is the temperature in the public areas. We were there in December and, although I prefer the cold to the heat, but it was downright cold to eat in the coffeeshop or wait for friends in the lobby. That is a first time in any hotel.
The location of the hotel is very good, just behind Umeda station. Walking to the station takes at most 10 minutes, but there are also frequent shuttle buses to and from Umeda.

Though located a good 15-20 min walk from Osaka Station, this hotel has much larger rooms than the Hilton which we normally stay at. The bus shuttle to the station runs every 15 mins to overcome any inconvenience of location.
The rooms were large (very large for Japanese standards) and we asked for a view of the Umeda Sky Building next door and got room #1201. As a bonus, the German xmas market is on each night in the open courtyard of this building so we were looking onto a huge lit xmas tree and fair each night.
Service was excellent and English standards fantastic so our stay was very smooth. The concierge team gave lots of helpful advice and checked up on places we had read about, saving us time and confusion.
The gym was good, though you have to pay for this facility in Japan, unlike most countries.
would stay here again. Very friendly and great rooms.

Stayed here for two nights on a pleasure trip with my Japanese host. Because our requested standard rooms weren't available, we were upgraded to corner suites, which were huge. Only negative was mine was a smoking room, which had to be sprayed to knock down the lingering smell of smoke. The hotel staff was wonderful and helped us find some out-of-the-way places to eat and relax. Hotel is within 10 minutes of Osaka train station, so it's handy for getting around. I would definitely stay here in the future.

We spent only one night here before taking hi-speed rail to Kyoto. This is your typical Westin Biz Hotel...except that it is one of the newer hotels in Osaka. Very good location; surrounded by the city of Osaka and a nice garden. Service was very good and excellent breakfast included.
