“Perfect location in Osaka”

We had a great experience staying at the Swissotel Nankai. It is located right on top Namba station and is the perfect location for shopping, an easy walk to Dotonbori, Amerikamura and Shinsaibashi. Takashimaya department store is downstairs, as well as train shopping arcades. Also super close to the train to the airport. Close as in.. downstairs again. Unfortunately I did not eat breakfast or dinner at the hotel as just outside are all the restaurants of Osaka on offer. Room was very nice - the usual hotel standard. Very clean and super comfy beds, great view. If you are looking for an incredibly convenient location in Osaka, and nice clean standard hotel rooms Swissotel is a good choice.

“Great in Many Ways”

My family and I stayed there for 4 nights. The location is perfect, just above the train station. Easy to get around as we are travelling with a 4 year old. We had an adjoining room which we requested. The bed was comfortable, the rooms modern and clean. Big enough for our luggage and shopping.

It was raining when we were there but it wasn't a problem as we could get to train station just by going down escalator. Also there is a covered walkway all the way to Dotombori. Just across the road and we are in shopping and food area. Lots of restaurants around. Also Takashimaya is just below the hotel. More shopping and food!

It will definitely be my choice the next time I'm in Osaka.

“Almost Perfect”

I had an almost perfect stay. Great location, right on top of Takashimaya. No need to lug your luggage to the airport, the train going to Kansai Airport is just two flight of escalators away. Super comfortable Swiss Advantage Room with nespresso machine and a view to kill. Club lounge served delicious snacks all day. Loved the Japanese bath. Most importantly, the service staff were so wonderful. When I fell sick, the concierge staff made the effort to find an English speaking doctor and gave us detailed instructions how to get to the clinic. Really appreciated the care and concern. My child very like the guest room at Swissotel, really comfortable & relax in the room. .

Swissotel must be my first choose for next time.

Spent a night at the hotel as I need to take a mid morning flight at Kansai Airport and didn't want to stay at hotels near the airport since there isn't much to do in Izumisano or Rinku Town. Swissotel Nankai is a good alternative since it sits directly on top of Nanba Station and the Rapid trains takes 35 minutes to reach Kansai Airport.
Hotel is well appointed with modern and spacious rooms (by Japan standards). The big plus is that you get to the ticket turnstile of the train station by going down just two set of escalator. Shopping is everywhere and Dotombori is just 15 minutes walk through a covered walkway with plenty of restaurants and shopping along the way.
This will be the hotel of my choice the next time I'm in Osaka.
