If you simply need a place to hang your hat, the Comfort Hotel will do the trick just fine. The workers are nice and efficient. The beds are comfortable enough. Overall the hotel and the room are pretty boring, plain, and simple with the usual small Japan hotel rooms, but even smaller than most. The lighting in the rooms is dreadfully bright, cold, and not controllable--it's either on or off. The room also can get very hot and stale, but if you open the windows you are subjected to the loud street below where the partying can go on into the wee hours.
The morning breakfast buffet is minimal, but fine for a morning snack.
A pet peeve of mine with many Japanese hotel rooms is that they do not have wifi, only ethernet cable access, which is fine when the cable is longer than a foot. If you want to sit in bed and do you emailing, forget it, it won't stretch beyond the desk.
The hotel is in a very very nice neighborhood with lots of great shops, restaurants, and people watching so if you get a good rate, it's a fine choice.
