Friendly staff, small rooms, paper thin walls, but only there to sleep. Less than 5 mintues walk from kobe station, convenient to get to airport. Large lobby area with restaurant, internet, vending machines, telephones. Convenience store on first floor. Would stay here again.

We went to Kobe just to visit another city. I picked this hotel because I had remembered the chain from back when I was a travel agent. I was glad I picked it. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, the bed could have been softer (eh, my husband liked it though), but the pillows were great. The heater, for the end of the December, was both necessary and super warm. The bathroom was super tiny (but we are also super tall), but there was nice shampoo and body wash provided. The internet was fast and reliable. Also, there is a 7/11 right at the hotel, which is really convenient for cheap breakfasts, etc. We plan on staying here again next time we come to Kobe.

this was the biggest room we stayed in Japan (even had a couch), while being one of the cheapest places. This was great after some of tiny rooms we had stayed in elsewhere.

Was there in 2008 and again in Nov 2010. We arrived here being on tour and after 10 hrs trip from south of Japan. Rooms which were made available to us were stinking with nicotine. The only remedy on the part of the staff was to spray the rooms even more with mysterious 'anti tobacco' spray, which caused even more throat and eye irritation, and to centrally activate noisy air pump which was later on impossible for the staff to switch off. Playing monkey when confronted about inconvenieces is standard procedure, as well as not speaking any international language. When we demanded another room, first we heard that 'there is no rooms', then 'tomorrow', and finally, the miracle occured, when our Japanese impresario intervened, BUT we needed to pay additional fee ! I sincerely warn against using this place and recommend taking longer walk somewhere else. Above all, whole building, including rooms, baths and elevators, needs complete makeover.

GROUPS- BEWARE! On arrival, one of the two main elevators gets 'damaged' and only one remains, with option to use old and dirty technical elevator.
