this ia a very nice hotel. rooms large, and updated. staff is excellent and friendly. Terrace restaurant for buffet breakfast and dinner is excellent. one of best ive had anywhere. only problem is that there is no business center in this very large business hotel. i needed to scan and fax some documents and had to walk 20 minutes to a fedex office. also, as helpful as the concierge tries to be, they are not very informed. for example; they sent me to the wrong address for the fedex office. also, a big problem in japan for americans is the lack of ATM machines. almost no ATMs in japan take foriegn cards. the concierge at the crown plaza did not know this and sent me on a wild-goose-chase to various ATM machines. after an extensive internet search, i discovered that the japan post office has their own ATM machines that work with US cards. Japan Post Bank/ JPBank is what u are looking for. The concierge couldnt direct me to a post office!
other than that, good hotel.

Great hotel. Rooms big by Japanes standards. Hotel resteraunts a little pricey but what aren't. Many selections to eat within a short taxi or subway ride. "bullet train" only a couple minutes walk, used this to go to Kyoto for sight seeing. Will defintely stay here again.

Right next to train station ... Very convienient for business travellers . Book Executive level and use The lounge for business metings .. Very Nice place ...

I suggest you ignore the comments about the inconvenience of different lifts at this hotel. It is so minor as to be insignificant.
Our stay on the Club floors was almost flawless (excuse the pun!). Check in was good, the room a little small for my liking (more of that later), the Club lounge very efficient and welcoming for breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails. We had selected a very competitive rate and the addition of the Club benefits made it excellent value for money.
The view from our floor 32 room was spectacular.
Now, the thinking behind my headline. The floor maps seem to show that rooms on the West side are larger than those on the East side (where we were). So, when booking or checking in see if there is a West facing room available.
Finally, a question to myself. We were here 5 nights. I am sure the average stay at this business orientated hotel is probably 2/2.5 nights. Knowing we were here for 5 nights I wonder why they didn't check us in to a West facing room allowing us the luxury of a little additional space for our extended stay.
However, my overiding memory of this hotel is of a comfortable, efficient, well staffed and good value for money establishment.
