We stayed here for two nights in October.
We caught the bullet train to Hiroshima from Kyoto and the hotel was within easy walking distance of Hiroshima station. The hotel is a little bit older looking so at first I was a little unsure, as it is little old fashioned as the front desk keeps your room key while you go out sightseeing during the day and you collect it back when you go back up to your room. But it was surprisingly comfortable. The room we had was actually quite large for a Japanese hotel room, we were very comfortable, the bed was huge too. The rooms here are a little different, there is kind of like a little ante room that you walk into where there is a desk and cupboard where you can take off your shoes before walking into the room proper. I quite liked this set up. The rooms are a little old, but very comfortable. Breakfast is served early and was included in the room charge, the breakfast was nothing out of the ordinary but it was good value to fill up on before a long day sightseeing. The hotel lobby also has great little printout sheets on how to get to sightseeing attractions, such as the Abomb dome and Miyajima Island, very helpful. The downstairs bar here is also worth a visit for a little night cap.
This was a great place to stay in Hiroshima :)
