The best hotel I have ever stayed in. Ultimate high technology . Above all, the starr is very helpful and intelligent. Particularly the concierge, who spent considerable time and effort to resolve a problem.

After reeading one or two previous reviews we were slightly worried as to what we may have booked, but we need not have worried. from the time we arrived to the time we checked out the service was exceptional. Rooms were fine, spacious with nice views over the castle etc.
Excellent location for sightseeing, shopping and not too far from the station.
all in all for the price that we paid this was a great hotel

Very central hotel not far from the Peace Memorial Park, 5 minutes, Hiroshima Castle and the Shukkeien Gardens. My room was on the 12th floor, it was clean, comfortable and perfect for a city break. The higher up you go apparently the nicer your room but mine was just ideal for what I paid and what I wanted. There is a restaurant on the 33rd, I think, floor but was out of my budget but would be perfect for a romantic dinner. Internet available at 100 yen for 10 minutes.

Rihga Royal Hotel itself is a landmark in Hiroshima, being 150m high. It's a nice walk to the Peace Park area, just 5-10mins. Other places of interest such as castle and art gallery are in within easy reach.

It has a very luxurious atomosphere in the lobby along with several boutiques.
I found the room a little bit dated with its garish (green floral pattern) duvet cover. Apart from the everything was fine and we didn't find any problems.

My Scottish husband described their breakfast as 'the very best of all in Japan' ! I myself, being Japanese, thought their Japanese selection in the buffet was superb; locally produced rice, vegitables et al. They also had good western stuff.
