My husband and I have stayed at this hotel twice. It is the perfect location for seeing the sights in Hiroshima. Only a block away from the Atom Bomb Memorial and Museum it makes a great central location. Also it is next to the castle and other museums. Located with shopping and restaurants attached to it in a small mall, but be sure to venture out in the city there are lots of good spots all over! The hotel itself is clean and upscale. We stayed over the American New Years and had a beautiful corner room with amazing views. The walls are all windows. The 33rd floor has BREATHTAKING views and is a great place for cocktails in the evening. A wonderful experience overall.

The hotel was very centrally located, 10 minutes away from all the A bomb dome sites. The room was enormous by Japanese standards and we had a great view over the castle. The service was great, very friendly English speaking staff. The restaurants in the hotel were typically over priced, but there were loads of good value places nearby.
One negative was that you had to pay for the LAN connection in the room, which I found to be an exception rather than the rule in the hotels I stayed in in Japan.

One of the most comfortable hotels that we stayed in during our holiday in Japan. The room was a good size and comfortable, and with an English newspaper each morning (which sounds trite but once you have visited Japan you'll understand). Nice breakfast buffet too if a triffle expensive; ditto the bar but with a great view from the top floor! We were half way up and had a great view of the Castle. No wifi (surprisingly uncommon in Japan).. We got an exceptionally good rate for a 2 night stay (Saturday and Sunday) which added to the satisfaction with the hotel.
The hotel had a pool and gym but this is charged for at a high price so we did not use it.

This hotel has a great location, and we had an unbeatable view of Hiroshima Castle from our room.
The room itself was roomy and large by Japanese standards and clean, but otherwise unremarkable.
The hotel is within walking distance of the Peace Park, shopping district and the tram network, so it is quite central. A taxi from the station was about 1000 Yen ($10 Australian/US dollars)
The concierge and desk staff were very helpful, and had good english language skills.
We were disappointed with the service and presentation of the restaurant on the ground floor. The other restaurants were too expensive for me, so I can't comment on them.
However, because the shopping mall district is in easy walking or tram distance, there are many restaurants and cafes in easy reach.
I'm not sure about value for money because we booked it as part of a package.
