This hotel is very cheap and includes access to a nice bath, free Internet and a good breakfast. If you are on a tight budget, perhaps this is a good choice for you. However, I had the most awful sleep here. The rooms are tiny. They were the smallest I have ever seen. You could barely move around and there was no place to stand in the bathroom. The bed was pushed right against the wall. the room was very humid even with the air conditioner working. Finally, there were horrid porn brochures in the room advertising the pay per view. I found this totally inappropriate. Don't stay at this hotel if you are looking for comfortable night.

This was a well located hotel within walking distance from the a-bomb site and shopping district or a quick tram ride away. A short tram ride away from the main train station. Very professional hotel with clean rooms and friendly, helpful and professional staff. Nice breakfast selection!

We stayed three nights in a double room at the Hotel Active for the 3 day Hiroshima summer kimono festival. The room was small but well presented. The hotel provides excellent value with a complimentary buffet breakfast and free coffee and internet all day.
Streetcar stop (M5) is just outside the hotel - which is well located next to the shopping and nightlife areas.

The only negative is the room size which is small - even by Japanese standards and the lack of space either side of the bed did diminish our sleep quality - but the twin rooms are designated as smoking - so those were not suitable for us.

Stayed for two nights in May 2011. Great hotel. Great spot in Hiroshima. Free internet. Buffet style all you can eat complimentary breakfast. Free hot chocolates and coffees at the end of each floor. Couldn't ask for more really. Room neat, compact and cosy for Japan standards but it has everything you should need. Would definitely stay here again.
