“Nothing Special”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

This is an average size hotel located in the heart of Sapporo. I stayed there while I was on a tour during the Sapporo Snow Festival, so I had no part in making the reservations or seeing the actual price for the rooms. The good things about this hotel is it is conveniently located if you are going to the Snow Festival. Less then a 5 minute walk away. There are tons of restaurants and convient stores located right outside of the hotel. (There is an alley way filled with small delicious ramen shops!) Besides that the hotel is fairly average. I am not the biggest of fan of Sapporo though and the area we were in, because it is just a bunch of host/hostess bars. (It reminded me of Shinjuku.) I am sure there are probably nicer areas of Sapporo.

Thank you for staying with us.
Actually, our room rates changes everyday becuase of the occupancy on that day.
Susukino is entertainment area of Sapporo, so if you would like to enjpy the night life of Sapporo, Susukino is the best place to stay. Our hotel is very popular for those people who have plans around Odori Park or Sapporo Dorm etc, and also thoes people who want to stay convenient area for all sightseeings at Sapporo. However, if you enjoy the nature or clam places, it is better to stay around Nakajima Park or little far from the city center.
Thank you for take your time to comment us.

“Great Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

A lovely, clean hotel in the entertainment district of Sapporo. The price was great and the room was clean and modern. As all hotels in Japan, the room was on the small side, but as we didn't spend a lot of time in it, it didn't concern us.

The hotel staff were also stellar. The workers at the front desk spoke English and were extremely helpful showing us places to go to on an English map, and held our luggage until we were ready to leave after we had already checked out.

Room Tip: If you book into a room with a double bed, ask after you get there to upgrade to a room with a queen...

Thank you for choose our hotel for your stay at Sapporo, and also thank you for taking time for comment to us.
As a RAMADA bland hotel, we have English spekers at our reception and reservation, and we are now doing our best to welcome for all the guests from abroad. Also, we always prepare English version of "Sapporo city map" and "Restaurant Map of our recommendation" at our reception desk, so if you need something, you can contact to our staff and can have them anytime. If you have chance to return to us, please get some other maps also and enjoy Sapporo City more.
We are looking forward to welcoming you again.

“A good hotel!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 December 2011

i stayed in Ramada Sapporo Hotel for 2nights in july and really enjoyed my stay there. Rie Mizoguchi who handled our reservation spoke good english unlike some other hotels where both parties struggle to understand each other. The service provided was excellent and the our requests and queries were all met and answered. Being situated in the heart of susukino, the location of the hotel was perfect! Ramen alley is just 5min walk away and there are plenty of restaurants from cheap japanese fast food to high end restaurants all close by thus spoiling you for choice, Subway station is also a stone's throw away. As for the rooms, I booked the large twin room which i believe is much bigger than the double bed rooms. The beds are comfy and the the toilet though small is cleverly designed to make use of the limited space. I especially liked the start and stop button on the shower which some 5*hotels do not even have, Transport to ramada Hotel from new chitose airport via Chuo bus cost just 1000yen and the bus stops approx about 200meters away. Personally, Ramada Sapporo is by far much better than ANA Sapporo Hotel which i stayed in before, I will definately be back!

“Comfortable stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 September 2011

Only stayed 1 night at this property as the other hotel I had wanted was asking sky high rates for a Saturday.

Checked in at 11.30pm due to a flight delay because of the typhoon raging in Nagoya. Check-in was prompt by the 2 men manning the reception.

Room was typically small but as we were there only for a night literally to sleep, we were fine with the size. Perhaps not as comfortable with big suitcases.

Bathroom felt a little claustrophobic - mainly because there is a big step up to get in, and the ceilings were also lowered. Very odd design I thought. Good amenities provided though. They have a tie-up (i think) with Shiseido so they used their products - where you get a full sized shower cream, shampoo and conditioner, not to be taken away of course.

Very comfortable bed for very tired travelers!

And as mentioned in earlier posts, very good location for a decent night sleep. Close to the ramen alley. This hotel is just across the road from the Mercure Sapporo.

Dear. SHL168 san,

Greetings from Ramada Sapporo, and thank you for staying with us your travel to Sapporo.

We are very happy to hear you could get nice sleep at our room. Our rooms have Simmons bed and France bed, so we belive we can provide comfortable sleep at night.

Our reception desk opens 24 hours 365days, so if you have anything you need to talk to our staff, you can come down or call us during your stay. If we can have your reservation once again in near future, please do not hesitate to contact us anytime you want.

The ramen alley which you mentioned was used in a Japanese movie which start showing very recently. Most of the ramen shops inside the alley had old history, so many guests enjoyed their lunch or dinner at there. We hope you enjoyed meal at there.

Thank you for your take time to comment for us.
We are looking forward to having your next reservation.

Thank you and Best Regards,
