The Xinxin Hotel which also seems to go by the name of the New Hotel in Hangzhou is located on the shore of West Lake. The views from the Hotel over the lake are wonderful but best from the 6th floor rooms facing the front and from the private meeting rooms on the 7th floor. Trees in front of hotel can obscure the view from the lower floors. The room was comfortable and everything worked. Please note that the Breakfast Room was not heated in December and was cold. We ate with our coats on. The buffet breakfast is plentiful but contains little if any Western food.
Room Tip: For the best views go to 6th floor.
