My son and I stayed for 1 night in this hotel.
There might be some confusion with the name. It is not called Four Seasons Hotel. It is called Spring Summer Autumn Winter Hotel, or shortened as Seasons Hotel. Its front sign says SSAW Hotel.
It is very conveniently located on a main thoroughfare 5-10 minuted walk from West Lake, which is the main attraction in Hangzhou. It is a short walk to some convenience stores, restaurants and other eating places.
First of all the front desk staff we very efficient, helpful, and they speak English (at least the ones we hard speak). They went out of their way to show us the room to see if we like it before they booked it for us. They did their best to answer our queries and gave us a nice map of the city. Although the street is noisy with traffic, it is a nice area with lots of trees.
The room is big and nicely decorated in the Zen style. The bed is very big, plus there is a large sofa that doubles as an extra bed. The console table is wide. There is good internet connection. The air-con worked very well and it has an easy-to-use control panel. The TV, although, still the tube type, is large and fairly clear, with several English channels.
The bathroom is large and. The room and bathroom, as well as the entire hotel, is very clean.
At $65.00 per night, even without breakfast, it is a very good deal for such a nice hotel with a large, clean, nicely appointed room and bathroom. I would definitely stay in this hotel when I return to Hangzhou in the future.
