We were part of a tour group and as a result, we were subjected to this place they call a hotel. I was surprised to learn that it was a recently built hotel. The carpets appear as if they have never been vacuumed since installed. Rooms were outdated and cheaply furnished. Even for China standards, it was sub-par. The rooms were small and had an unbearable stench. There were no closets; a coat rack was provided instead. Bedding and towels did not seem fresh. I wonder if they were being re-used in order to cut costs. Breakfast was equally disappointing. It lacked variety and the choices that were there, were of low quality.
If you have the luxury of choosing a hotel, you would be wise to look elsewhere.
