Old style hotel with bathtub and a lot of wood, that looked dirty, but was not dirty.
TV program with all the usual channels, incl CNN, DW, HBO, Cinemax and I think also BBC and Discovery.
Internet was free of charge, but very slow, even skype calls were not great, which usually work even over very slow lines. iChat, Facetime and VPN worked, but very, very slowly, so not really useable.
Breakfast was good, with all the usual stuff.
Beds were extremely hard, my back is still hurting.

Electric plugs are not easily to be found and only allow for Chinese plugs and small European ones.

The really annoying thing was the electric controls. No way when it is dark to find the right button.
I probably would not stay there again, but if you have to - do not worry, you will survive.

Great place stay while in Hangzhou. Although it's not near the Lake or the tourist areas (no Pizza Hut here LOL), it does have a great restaurant, is within walking distance to bars and other restaurants.

The front desk staff is very helpful. This is were I exchange my US dollars for RMB's. It's a very fair exchange rate and they will swap them back for me at the end of my visit.

I have stayed at this hotel many times, mainly for its location and lack of surprises. You get what you expect from a business hotel. Nothing special, but nothing too bad either. The taxi drivers certainly know where to find it.
