Conveniently located comfortable hotel. Rooms were clean with plenty of room. Hotel facilities were good and staff helpful. Would definitely stay here again

Didn't much like this hotel which is really geared to Chinese clients. It is a long way from the centre and taxis can be hard to find. TV only showed Chinese channels. Breakfast only average, as mostly aimed at Chinese clients.

I spent 14 days at the Lily Hotel and liked it a lot. My room was small, but well-designed and clean. It was only about $37/night including breakfast with a reasonably fast internet connection. The breakfast was good, with western selections, such as corn flakes, omelets and good coffee. The restaurant was also good with a menu in english. The staff was very, very friendly and most spoke english. The location is good. It is a 10 minute walk from West Lake and several good restaurants are nearby (in addition to the good one at the hotel).

I was a little wary about how all the reviews had exactly the same phrases. I wondered if it was just lazy cutting/pasting by the reviewers or something else. I'm just pretty much repeating what other reviewers have said.

I'll be spending more time in Hangzhou and will return to the Lily Hotel. It is not the nicest hotel I've staying in China, but it is a great choice for Hangzhou.
