The hotel doesn't make heat available between the hours of 10am and 6pm which, when it's barely above freezing outside, as it was during my stay, makes little sense and is quite uncomfortable for anyone who needs to do work in his or her room during the day. Also, this place has clearly seen better days. The walls of my room were nicked and chipped, the towels and bedding frayed, and my bed, at least, was rock-hard. The entire effect was of a worn two-star hotel striving for higher status.

“Good location but better options available”
- No air conditioning at night (when you need it)
- Internet is unreliable
- Breakfast doesn't have any western options, not even toast
- Rooms are clean though the bedding is old and isn't changed daily
- Rooms are noisy from street traffic
- Good location

“Reasonably good value”
Not a bad hotel, good location near the lake. As for the view, well I could see and hear a busy road.
Staff were helpful and most at front desk spoke English.
The rooms are huge and clean and comfortable. Internet didn't work, not a big deal for me at the time but could be a pain.

“Look,its OK but”
This hotel is OK but a couple of things spoilt it for us.For one our room was on the no smoking floor but our room still had a slight smoke smell about it and there were cigerette butts in the ashtrays outside the lifts.The breakfast does not cater for western tastes but if you like Chinese style,you would think its fine.Not a lot of English is spoken but they do try to find someone on staff who can.The location is good and the rooms are clean.
