The Hotel Ibis Xi'an is great value, it is a basic hotel, but is very clean and is in a great location! I am confined to a wheelchair and the room access and facilities were suitable. The breakfast was not brilliant and the process to buy breakfast coupons could be improved. We used the tour desk to book a driver to the Warriors, which was good (except he tried taking us to shops on the way). There are a number of restaurants close by, and some small shops. There is no fridge in the room.

The hotel was comfortable and clean. The rooms were quite small and the bathroom was very plastic. Breakfast was included and we enjoyed it both mornings in the breakfast area of the reception. There were two PCs with free internet access. We were able to leave our luggage behind reception during the day of our departure. Staff were very security conscious before giving it back to you - a good thing! The hotel was inside the city walls with plenty of restaurants in the vicinity within walking distance. The brand new long distance train station was quite far out of the city though - at least 40 mins by taxi. But then we did get to our next destination, 450 miles away, extremely quickly on the fast train (about 1.5hrs)! We would probably use this hotel on any subsequent visit.

Well this place was good value for money....very clean and good location! I was very sick and was stuck in the room...t.v was crap luck we had a laptop and some dvd's! service was about the same as many other ibis in china very much we do what we have to when we can not overly helpful or friendly and the tour desk wasn't much better due to being sick we only had one day left to see Xian when I was better so we booked a tour and it turned out we were the only ones on it which was great for us although the guide wasn't very happy as he wouldn't get much in the way of tips! food was extremely average however for what we paid we didn't expect much in china.... if I wasn't sick we would have been out all the time and it would have likely been perfect!

4 nights booking turned into quite a "nightmare " when we had no Hot water supply for 48h.
Hotel duty manager and general manager did nothing but apologized ,
they actually did not try hard in solving that problem blaming Subway construction for gas cut off .
None the less we were asked to pay the 4 full nights, which I objected .
After argument last 2 nights were offered to us .

that being said :
hotel is an Ibis standard , Clean and quiet , well located , with fast Lan internet in room.
