On arrival we were told our room was "being made up" and would be ready within 30 minutes. Thirty minutes later we were told that they would start cleaning the room within the NEXT 30 minutes. Thirty minutes later, after "follow up" by me, the room was ready. Unfortunately, though, the promise that our bags would be brought to the room was not kept - so I went and found them (in the open in the foyer) and brought them up myself.
The room is small, uncomfortable, and has seen better days (but quite a long time ago, I'd guess).
However, the really bad news about this hotel is the breakfast room. The first impression is of a large, dirty, room with some elements of a buffet breakfast in place, and occasionally some staff walking around aimlessly. But you will quickly discover that coffee urns which empty are not replaced, the fruit juice jugs are mostly empty, the salt shakers are all empty (except for the rice in them), and the few slices of bread which had been put near the toaster have gone and have not been replaced. The place is, in fact, a disaster (and dirty as well).
To bring the state of this shambles to the attention of the management is a waste of time. They simply shout at some of the staff (who ignore the shout) and then everyone combines to ignore the hotel guest.
I could go on and on about other aspects of this place, but it's simpler to say "find somewhere else if you can".
