We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights we had booked a superior suit on the 11th floor. In a nutshell, there was nothing even remotely good about this hotel. Even though it is less than 2 years old, poor management and staff have run it down very badly. We would recommend that you give this one a miss for the following reasons. There is better value for money elsewhere.
Check In: Staff were not friendly and had very little command in the English language. Luckly our transfer guide was there to help us check in. When we enquired about breakfast they repeatedly informed our guide that there was no restaurant in the hotel and we had to go outside for meals. Funnily enough, we found 2 restaurants on the premises.
Porter: No one helped us with our luggauge, when we asked the porters on duty who were standing out the front of the hotel as makeshift security guards, they said they were busy - which they were clearly not. However, they did speak a little English.
Rooms: Our suit was poorly decorated and was had a stuffy smell about it. We had 2 bathrooms and 3 showers which we thought at first was unessary. However, after a shower in one, the water leaked very badly. So my husband had a shower in the other, but this one also leaked - we ended up having a swimming pool in our bathroom. We complained 4 times but no one would take any notice (later our guide informed us that other tourists had the same issues and no one attended to their complaints either).
Buffet Restaurent:
We had all our breakfasts and one dinner at the restaurent. But was completed unsatisfied with the quality & quanity of food available to guests. There was never enough food on the buffet and food was never replaced in a timely manner to cope with the number of people. Many other tourists were fed up with waiting for food to be replenished, especially after paying for the meal.
Safety:
Because of the location (train station) there could be about 1000+ people in the area at any given time. There is no security on the premise and there is signs everywhere asking guests to be aware of their valuables in their rooms and that the hotel is not responsible for lost goods on premises.
Spa:
While it was seemingly ecconomical the facility was rank with cigarette smoke and had a dingy atmosphere. While the activities such as massage was worth your money, the staff can be discribed much like to facilities.
All in all, we would never return and would not advise travelers to stay here more than one night.
