This hotel is located near the bell tower and the shopping street, but as we found out in the evening, eating after 9pm is a challenge....
The room itself was unspectacular - the dirty carpet put us off a bit, and we did not walk on it in bare feet. The condoms in the bathroom are a bit unsetlling, but not the only hotel we found them in in China. Hotel is billed as 4*, but really only 3* although the room size was good.
The Chinese restaurant in the hotel was closed the night we were there, and the western one stopped he buffet at 9pm, thereafter only serving simple western dishes like pizza. We decided to venture out to try and find some Chinese food, and wished we hadn't. We did find ourselves in the shopping street, but with mainly fast food places. Maybe if you are on a private tour, you may have some insight where ot go to eat, but our guidebooks were not really helpful.
Prices in the bar were reasoable for cocktails.
