I stayed here as part of a package tour. There is nothing really bad about the hotel, it just pales against the hotel I stayed in Beijing, both were rated as 4 stars. The positives of the hotel are the lobby, very nice. The breakfast was also pretty good. Nice selection of both Chinese and European/American food. Also a positive, they exchange money with no fees at a pretty favorable rate.

On the downside, the rooms are a little tired and could use some renovation. They still had a tube TV. The gym is pretty bad. Very dated machines and a little claustrophobic. On the service side, the concierge had a hard time with English and could not provide any suggestions of places to eat-- a pretty basic request I think.

I saw some newer hotels outside the city wall. I don't know what the price differential is between this hotel and those hotels but it might be worth investigating before booking at this hotel.

Loved the breakfast buffet, plenty of everything, really good mix of Chinese and Western food! The rooms are also very nice, friendly staff and the location in Xian is good. I was not disturbed by any noice at all, quite the contrary. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a very nice hotel, with an attractive lobby, excellent restaurant, and very well furnished and comfortable rooms. Very well trained and friendly staff.

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Rooms nice, bathroom good, all clean !
the breakfasts were very good and plenty. Staff nice. We stayed as part of a tour.
Only downside wasthe hard bed, but that is fairly standard in CHINA.
