The hotel itself is a bit tired and could do with some refurbishment.However you could forgive this for it's great location-right across from the old wall amd fortifications. At night these are lit up and make a magnificent sight.The room was comfortable and the breakfast very good,but sadly my room overlooked the airconditioning ducts and not the old wall.The hotel has a very good mini-supermarket on the ground floor,but check the opening times as it closed earlier than I expected.I would stay here again mainly for its great location.

This Hotel was provided for us by China Travel in Hong Kong and we felt a bit like the Beverly Hillbillies..!! It was definitely POSH but also very low key and we had a most enjoyable two night stay while seeing the Warriors and the considerable scenery around the area....the Hotel is right by an ancient city wall....again free computer means a free LAN cable in your room...buy a small router for China so you have wireless in your room...also take a set of international plugs although I must say most Chinese Hotels had more than adequate outlets...a most enjoyable First class Hotel in every way....anyone gives this a bad review is a pro whiner...!!

Massive rooms and great breakfast! About 10 minutes walk to the Bell Tower, which we visited at night, is well worth it! Although the site is a major road intersection, you get to it via an underpass (very busy and totally safe with the usual caveat to be wary of pickpockets). Once up on the bell tower you can see all across the city.
Staff at the hotel were polite an helpful. I would recommend this hotel for your stay in Xi'an.

The room was fabulous and huge with a window running almost it's full length. The view was fantastic as it looked out over the impressive city wall which was lit up by night. By comparison the bathroom was small and drab and there wasn't a great
deal of storage for the size of the room.
This hotel is in a lively location and the shops are within a few minutes walk - if you can get across the road - the traffic stops for no one.
There is a small supermarket type shop on the ground floor and a beautician where you can get a pleasant foot massage.
The restaurant was fine for breakfast but in the evening it is better to be early so there is still plenty of choice. The staff were helpful and pleasant and I would recommend this hotel for the location more than anything else.
