You must NOT book this hotel, unless if you speak good Chinese! It's amazing, but the staff understand ONLY Chinese! There were 3 attendants upon our arrival, and none of them spoke anything but their native language. On a self rated 4 stars hotel! On a place the importance of Xi'an!
If the staff can't speak foreign idioms, just write down on the site, it's as simple as that!
We were able to mumble our reservations request, once we had a mini dictionary, but...
Attention! There is a non written policy: the hotel insists on charging you 30% of your homestay to provide the costs of their minibar - which was intendd to be refunded to us if we didn't use anything. Odd, but it's their policy. Only it should be annonced on the site.
Thanks to a nice chinese guest, we could understand what they wanted, and once it was neither on the site, nor on the contract, we refused. Magically the policy disappeared, but misteriously our 5 credit cards didn't work! The hotel charged our stay CASH!
Upon our arrival, there were three employees emptying the minibar(WHICH, BY THE WAY, IS LOUSY), just in front of us because our refusal on paying the deposit they requested.
One other point: if you plan to check out early, PAY when you arrive, because the front desk was DARK (nobody there, I swear) at 7:10 AM!!
So, don't waste your time, don't be irritated, beecause you won't enjoy the fine room.
Book another hotel (there are a lot of good options), which is far better than getting along the nightmarel we had to live.
