This hotel is a total FRAUD misleading travelers as a hotel "convenientely situated NEXT TO Guangzhou-Qingyuan Expressway and the New Baiyun International Airport."

In the English language ... "NEXT TO" is really close, it is adjacent, nearby and people assume it is 5 to 10 minutes away. In terms of miles NEXT TO is maximum 5 miles. Never anywhere in the world would any hotel promote itself as "NEXT TO" being 30, 40, 50 minutes away or 20 to 30 miles away. That is really far away.

This hotel is at best - at 2AM in the morning with no traffic - 30 minutes away and with typical Guangzhou traffic approximately 50 to 1 hour away.

What a SCAM. This is a total FRAUD for anyone who thinks that this hotel is an Airport hotel as they are promoting themselves.

We Booked this hotel for the Canton Fair - it was the only one our Travel Agent could find - It was supposed to be 4 Stars - I would rate it more like -4 Stars. The room was dirty - the toilet was clogged when we checked in. They said they had no other rooms and that they would clean the room the next day and that we could use the bathroom in the lobby - after 45 minutes of arguing they did give us another room. In the new room there were condom wrappers in the drawer. The beds were like concrete blocks and there was no hot water at all during our stay - it was only luke warm late at night. This hotel is similar to prison accomodations. Housekeeping walked in on me and my wife 2 times and 2 prostitutes approachd me in the lobby. When we tried to check out and leave to go to a nice hotel - we were told that we would be charged for our full stay even if we left, and that they were not responsible about the prostitutes and that we could have an extra pillow for the bed. The Manager and staff were rude and agumentative. We were forced to stay, when we did check out the rate was almost twice what we were quoted and we were told if we didn't pay we would be arrested. We will dispute the charges on our credit card - I would rather sleep in a box by the road then stay in this hotel again. I would advise anyone to stay clear of this hotel.
