The only advantage of this hotel is its location. In booking beware that they have two towers haram tower and city tower and the service and rooms are much different with the better in haram tower. In city tower not all the rooms have city view but they have no view at all, in other words you are viewing the ugly dusty walls from your window. They always try to give you twin rooms regardless of the number of family members with a promise that this a temporary solution which sometimes is a permenatnt solution. You have to spend at least one or two days from your visit trying to move to better room which isn't guaranteed. Also, all the amunities and services you expect at 5 stars hotel isn't there for example slippers, bath robe, coffee maker, ...

I visited this hotel with family after performing Umrah in Makkah in March 2011. Overall I would rate this hotel 4+ as I stayed there for 6 nights and was value for money. I found this hotel to be comfortable and staff friendly.

Arriving from Makkah Hilton Towers the triple room was very small. It was clean and getting to the room via lift very easy.

Location very good 100 m from Haram

Breakfast Very poor service from waiters

Poor variety of food compared to Hilton Makkah.

Bin Dawood supermarket in the basement is a big bonus for snacks etc

Location : Excellent, among the closest to Prophet's Mosque

Room and amenities : tip-top, comfy beds, spacious; Shopping center and Bin Dawood supermarket located in the same building, what more could one ask for?

Walking distance to most retail areas and also the famous Dates Market

Checked-in as a group and therefore couldn't comment on first hand experience with the hotel crew/reception; however, everything was smooth and our luggage were already waiting outside our rooms upon arrival (stayed at room 5005)

Dining area : A bit crowded but that's due to our large Hajj group (Tabung Haji Malaysia) occupying both restaurants (Rehab and Asia)

Overall, a satisfying experience ...
