Stayed in the executive suit over ramadhan and it was more then adequate for my family of 5. We had 2 bedrooms with double beds,dining ,sitting,kitchenette and 3 bathrooms.service was prompt and replaced us with nuts,basket of fruits and chocolates,drinks daily and all complimentary.The best thing is the location because you open the hotel door and two steps into the courtyard of the haram! The buffet is lush and plenty of variety but a bit pricy almost 100-150dhms p.p but worth it once in a while.
All in all i liked this hotel and wouldnt hesitate to go again.All sorts of malls and shops around too.

Me and my wife along with our 2 year old kid were very lucky to be staying right at the gates of our beloved prophets mosque. What could one ask for more-And the hotel never gave any reason to complain for their service. I'll be back Insha Allah

previously i had stayed at this hotel during the last year when it was intercontinental .this year not being affiliated with the famous chain anymore , i was a bit unsure whn booking this hotel. but whn the moment we checked in , i was sure that this is going to be my best stay in medina. i ve been coming to the holy city almost evry year n have stayed at other hotels in the same area like the hilton , movenpik , dar al iman etc but this hotel was definitely par excellence .we had one triple and one double room . the triple was spacious n clean . the toiletteries and mini bar were refilled regularly . we even received a fresh fruit plate at arrival . the hotel is also very convenient for ladies gate 25.many food options local n international nearby including starbucks, kfc , hardees etc. we decided to try the hotel s resturant for our first breakfast... since it was the first morning of ramadan ,it was a bit of dissappointment in terms of service though food was fresh and had many options.in the evening i had the opportunity of meeting the hotels food and beverage manager Mr Jehad Ramhi...many thanks to him for not only listening to our complain regarding the service at resturant but also for making so much effort to make sure our next visit to the resturant was the most pleasant one. it was because of his extraordinary efforts that we came to the Al marwa resturant evry evening for our iftar dinner having huge veriety of delicious food n drinks. i ve never seen a manager as dedicated as mr jehad ramhi. if there r too many people waiting for tables he wud himself pikup tables n chairs n set up tables for guests . if the waiters r too busy i even saw him clearing tables n piking up dirty dishes. he was constantly running around making sure everyone is comfortable n being well taken care of..... a big thanks to him from me n my family. i highly recommend this hotel esp. its al marwa resturant . a must try!!!

i went for perform umra (pilgrimage) with my family.... dar al taqwa provided a great start to our stay in Madina. the facility is 5 star and the location is unbeatable... my mother and my grandmother also travelled with us and dar al taqwa is located in front of the women's entrance to the mosque (masjid-e-nabwi) which is a major plus point. i would like to specially mention mr. samer anwar khashuqgi (duty manager) who went out of his way to make our stay a most comfortable one... this included a free upgrade to the luxurious 3 bedroom vip suite... all staff members were very courteous.... another special mention goes to mr. riaz butt who arranged our airport pick-up and also had the wheel-chair ready for my grandmother upon arrival at the hotel... only reservation was the breakfast which was adequate but could have been improved with the addition of an omelette station.. i have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to individuals, couples and families travelling to Madinah...
