“Comfortable and roomy hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 June 2011

The design of the hotel obviously focused on creating a feeling of spaciousness, the reception area and waiting lounges are absolutely huge! Executive Bedrooms are very comfortable. Food in the hotel is very good and the staff in the Restaurant are especially friendly and willing to help. The only downside is the charge for broadband, I don't know why hotels charge for this, it's petty and irritable in this modern age

“Big Rooms and good showers - they're the only positives. 5 star? No!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 April 2011

Poor verging on rude service from significant number of employees. No tea/coffee etc facilities in rooms but room service the most expensive in Kingdom. Limited maintenance on rooms. Missing plugs, burnt/scorched lampshades. Breakfast very average - stale bread products, nasty coffee. Overall, very disappointing. Would have checked out early but Intercon not available. Look elsewhere!

“Not only best in town but maybe best in southern Saudi”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2009

This hotel really is a must if you stay in Abha. Quite cheap especially if you compare value for money. Large rooms, all equiment/facilities are good maintained, excellent restaurant. Lobby is a lively place, no cold ambience as often in Saudi hotels.

“Spacious nice hotel in Saudi mountains”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 June 2009

Hotel is typical Arabic style, so extremely huge lobby, big rooms, some arabic touches like lamps etc.
Rooms are really huge, pretty OK in terms of the furniture with reasonable wear. Probably bathroom could be renovated as here the signs of aging are visible.

Service in the hotel is reasonably good & quick.
Breakfast OK, I would expect it might be better in the high season (July-August) when hotel is apparently packed with mainly local / GCC tourists

One thing to double check ahead is the services of their drivers / taxi and possibly tour guide. This can be pretty expensive with little other options to get something else when you are already there (unless you speak& read arabic to check brochures or phone somewhere)
On top for example our tour guide learn plenty of things from us (what we got from our friends, different books or internet) as he has been to many places for the first time with us........
