I am very pleased with my stay at Ekaterininskaya hotel. I stayed 5 days at this hotel with my family. We payed 35 euros per person for one night. It is definetely worth the money. It is not a luxury hotel but is newly built and has very comfortable and clean rooms. The rooms are huge. Our room had an extra bed and a living room area with a couch, arm chairs and a writing table. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was a decent open-buffet. The most important part I like was the staff. They were all very helpful and warm. The first night when we came late to the hotel they were concerned cause they thought we couldn't find the way to the hotel. The day we were leaving we had a very early flight and wouldn't make it to breakfast so they prepared breakfast boxes for us to take. Receptionists, cleaning ladies and all the other staff were very hospitable.
The hotel is close to the airport but a bit far from the city center. However there is a midi-bus (number 19) and minibus (no 56) in every five minutes that takes you to city center in 15 minutes. They cost 10 or 11 rubles. We took bus number 19 every day and the last stop was "1905 revolution square." (which is basically the city center). You can take the same bus right where it left off (at revolution square), to come back to the hotel. (However after 9 p.m, bus 19 does not run. Take minibus no: 5 instead, they both leave you right across the hotel.) Hotel is adjacent to a shopping mall which has a food court and a supermarket in it. Overall I was very pleased with my stay. For 35 euros per night, it is definetely worth the money!
