My wife and I stayed at this hotel during the adoption process of our two children. The hotel is very clean, has spacious rooms with new updated bathrooms and furniture. While the hotel is primarily geared toward business travelers, the English speaking management and staff were just incredible in meeting and anticipating our needs with two small children. The hotel’s restaurant is very nice, comfortable, and reasonably price and has very good food. I didn’t have a bad meal the entire week we were there. The only negative would be that the menu is limited along with the breakfast that’s included with the room. This hotel is also a short walking distance from great shopping and restaurants on the main pedestrian street in Nizhniy Novgorod however there are no supermarkets near by but there are a couple of pharmacies (adoptive parents take note). Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay at the Nikola House and would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a stay in Nizhniy Novgorod.

The hotel is quite modern, stylish, good value, excellantly located. The staff were very welcoming, helpful, spoke English and registration was done without any fuss.

a nice small hotel. room is clean with minibar and WIFI. English speaking staff though not all. Good restautant open 24 hrs, staff are still courteus despite we woke them at 4 am for our meal. Breakfast inclusive and reasonably good .
front office staff are courteous, friendly and helpful. Good security.

City centre is within a short walking distance from the hotel. I am for sure will stay at this hotel when I visit Nizhniy again.

Overall, by Russian standard, this hotel is above average and value for money.
