Excellent hotel, very cozy and comfortable. Wonderful holiday in St. Petersburg, friendly staff, good service. Be sure to come yet

We loved this quaint small hotel -- less than 10 rooms. Super location. One block from Neva River, 3 blocks from Nevsky Prospect. Inside beautiful facade of old administration building. We had a loft room with a king bed, AC, free internet, new bathroom, and lovely desk personnel. Don't be put off by entrance -- inside is friendly, clean, homey feel - especially for breakfast. We would stay there again.

Location is good for all main attractions but the hotel itself is more like a B&B / Guest house. The reception is in the middle of the appartment and in the same room is one table with kitchen where breakfast is served. The 1 table can only accommodate approximately 6 people. Not great when the 8 rooms are full...Also you can witness the receptionist cleaning dishes and preparing breakfast whilst you are eating. Very cosy... NOT!

Reception/breakfast room is open 24hours and you can only get into hotel by ringing bell twice (once at the bottom of flat and once by flat door) so it is pretty annoying when people get in and out in the evening. The wooden floor and the glass table don't help with the noise either.

The room had a lamp hanging off the wall, and curtains were ripped at the top.

Room was dark and bed was I suspect infected by bugs judging by the amount of scratching we did at night.

The receptionist came knocking on the door at about 10.30pm on the 2nd day asking us how we spelt names on our passport (A copy of main passport page was taken at check in + we filled in a form) after having had the opportunity 3 times through the day top ask us. Pretty rude if you ask me. We were just getting ready for bed after a long day touring around town.

Receptionist at night was really noisy entertaining her friend. The rooms echo and you could hear them laughing, talking, getting breakfast ready for the next morning and smell the cigarettes they were smoking through the door. My partner had to get up and tell them to be quiet.

Unfortunately changing room not an option as they are all around that main room area so no escape.

All in all a few sleepless night and ready for a holiday from the holiday from hell at the so called Deluxe Hotel.

We will surely never stay there ever again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
