Five minutes walk from the Hermitage in one direction and the Church of the Spilled Blood in the other this B&B (no meals are served) has four double rooms that are comfortable and well furnished, with good bathrooms. The air conditioning (heating and cooling) is quiet and efficient. Although all windows are double glazed, this isn't sufficient to block out a student restaurant across the road whose doors crash shut every few seconds during the evening (but, fortunately, not at night!).
Breakfast is siumple and there is always a "special" which could be blinis or sausages or porridge. There is always cold meats and cheese and orange juice. The breakfast room only has four places, so if the hotel id fully booked - and with only four rooms, it often is - you may not be able to breakfast when you want to.
The staff are all delightful and helpful. We had afternoon tea brought to our room with a smile and no extra charge.
Much less expensive and at least as comfortable as the big hotels, this is a good place to spend your nights in St P so long as you understand the downsides.
