Pushka-Inn is a small very- well run hotel with perfect location in the heart of Saint Petersburg.
The lobby interior is very charming with the drawings exhibition from one of the local artists , lots of little charming details ( for example, candle holders in the shape of swan, white hydrangeas on the stairs) and beautifully decorated even though extremely small elevator.
the room we stayed in fоr 3 nights was quite spacious with 2 windows and a sitting area. The bed was quite comfortable. It was quite hot in the room ( outside was -18! and the room was very well heated) bit it was possible to sleep with an open window facing moika river embankment. Possibly this wouldn't be that comfortable in summer during the white nights since on moika usually there are lots of boats and this might become quite noisy.
The bathroom was quite small to say the least so if you are a big guy,you might feel a bit claustrophobic. The bathrobes and slippers were there for us, so no need to bring your own staff.
The location itself is ideal for tourists since it is within walking distance to hermitage museum, Russian museum, and lots of other beautiful spots. The hotel can be definitely recommended for international travellers, since all information in the hotel is at least in English and French , maybe even German. All stuff is English-speaking and extremely helpful.
The breakfast is served in the restaurant next door. There is no room service though with what relates to food which would be probably the only area for improvement I would suggest.
