Despite hearing reviews that the hotel staff spoke excellent English this was not the case. Food prices were exhorbitantly high for a 2 star-hotel, and little or no help was available for those who wished to tour the area or otherwise. If any matters needed fixing in the room they were met by prompt shouting at the guest if you did not speak in Russian.

The bathrooms did not contain a bath as was promised.

The view however was breathtaking.

This hotel occupies the fourth floor of another less nice hotel. Nice room with what you would expect for the money. The view from our side of the building is looking out over the water and the islands farther away. The hotel is on a hill ( like most everything else in Vladivostok) so when walking you are either going up (to the hotel) or down.
Service is ok and breakfast is included, butit isn't very filling, however the restaurant also has a great view. Restaurant is expensive for other meals.
You check in on the fourth floor so don't be confused by the front desk in the lobby. Ther are some restaurants and a small casino on the ground floor. Also Chinese tour groups are often coming and going from the other hotel so sometimes it is a bit noisy.
Recommend Pizza M Italian restaurant which is about a km from the hotel.
