“Very nice hotel in Moscow - quite centrally located”

I stayed in Hotel Korston for 2 nights in December 2011 and found it a very pleasant experience in general. Slow check in and queue, but when inside, the rooms are fine and with free drinking water and internet. Even international calls are free!
The hotel is a part of a casino and restaurant complex, and they have acceptable sushi downstairs and nice russian food upstairs. Reasonable food can be bought in the central hall.
Be alert to the fact that the premise is crowded with nice looking ladies, and they are very much ready to attract your attention. Take another look in the mirror before you think you are just fantastically attractive! They are easily brushed off though and then they will leave you in peace. The complex apparently also contains a strip bar - I saw the signs, but did not check it out.
A glas of Italian red wine or a beer have acceptable Moscow prices in the bar area.
Hotel service to Sheremetyove is standard rate of RUB 3.000.-

“Great Deal, Views and Meals in Moscow”

I have stayed at the Korston Hotel many times in the past and I have always been pleased with the level of service and the quality of the rooms. With Moscow hotels reaching stratospheric room night prices, the Korston hotel presents good value for the dollar – albeit the dollars are still steep compared to other European cities. But then again, Moscow is expensive! For me, the Korston has (1) a great location, and is relatively easily accessible either by car or metro; (2) undoubtedly, hands-down the best downtown views of Moscow. Rooms facing north (towards the Moscova River) provide great views of the river itself, the Kremlin, the new Cathedral and the business district to the east of town. Some years back these rooms could be noisy, with motorcycles and cars whizzing by on the street in front. Hence, I took a quieter room facing the back of the hotel and I noticed the room had double-paned windows, so I suppose the ones in the front rooms do too; (3) extensive choice of restaurants, all located within the hotel itself. Note: Don’t be put-off by the bright casino lights outside. Yes, there used to be a casino within, but all casinos in Russia were closed down about two years ago, so there is no gambling and the associated crowds. In summary, in a city with lots of hotels, and where pricing is not always a good guide to the level or standard of the hotel, the Korston scores very well.

Room Tip: Room facing the river have great city views. Check if the windows are double-paned, as the road noi...

“Great value !”

Several changes have been made in Korston Hotel, since my first stay in 2007, and for the better !
After the casino was closed some years ago, Korston has realized changes have to be done, to attract their business cliental to return.
.
The room prices is status quo since 2009, however its included breakfast, free WiFi and free Phone calls!!
The free phone calls from your hotel room are an absolute benefit, especially when you think about the mobile rates in Russia.
The service and friendliness of the staff has also been improved.

Rooms are average, room service fast and efficient.

There is a bunch of restaurants in the hotel, which will serve your needs – Korean, Japanese, French, Italian, Russian and for fish lovers and the restaurant prices are very reasonable.
There is still working girls in the restaurant area, however they will not approach you if you don´t want to.
The bar is filled with +30 flat screens, showing sports 24/7…great !

Furthermore has the hotel some souvenir shops, pharmacy and a gym. .

The gym is probably the best of the 6 different hotels I’ve been at in Moscow. Very modern and is equipped with treadmills, cycles, machines for every muscle group and free weights.

I would probably rate this as my favorite place in Moscow, according to the room rate (within my budget).

“Excellent expirience in Moscow!! Free calls to all over the world!”

I stayed in Corston Hotel, Moscow in September 2011. It is hotel-casino and has ongoing events 24h a day, but if you are not into casino it will not bother you not with loud music nor anything else, as hotel has side entrance and can be percieved as regular business hotel.
Rooms are spacious and with nice view. Food is good at breakfast and there are about 10 different restauranrs in the building where you can choose your dinner.
Best thing I want to stress is that hotel offers free phone calls to 99% destinations in the world and it means you can call mobile or fixed phones anywhere in the world for free. Whoever was lonely in hotel room on business trip will appreciate possibility to talk relaxed to family and friends back home.

“First class service all round”

The Hotel is situated near Moscow University and therefore somewhat outside the center but it is only 10 mins away from a tube station and once there one can be in central Moscow very quickly.

We stayed on the 13th floor and the view was over a large block of flats but infact this did not bother us very much because we were only back each night to sleep and did the sight seeing during the day :) . Although we made no use of the facility, there is a night club and "Men's Club" inside the Hotel. For the sports fans there are number of Big screens that, the time we stayed were screening football most of the time.

The room was not big and the third bed, a 'foldable one', a bit of a squeeze but the rest was fine. Bathroom adequate, well furnished and clean. Hot water/A/C worked perfectly and the lifts were always functional and fast. The TV worked and had a few channels in English. Russian,German, French, Italian and Spanish stations were also available.

Breakfast and evening meals consisted of very generous buffets and the food very good and varied.

The staff were helpful and courteous and we were even allowed a room to rest while we waited for the night-time flight.

A winning bonus is the FREE internet and FREE international calls world wide from the Hotel!

We spent 4 nights in all at the Hotel and were entirely satisfied and would not hesitate to go there again!

Room Tip: The Front of the Hotel would presumably give you a better view, as it overlooks the river. The highe...
