We stayed here over Easter and it was wonderful. The rooms were a descent size and the beds were excellent. They even had different pillows. The bathrooms were immaculate. The only thing I did not like was the extra charge for room service which came with each order. I would recommend you stay here if you visit Moscow

Hotel very good but restaurants and bars very expensive.
Its located near the railway Station but the pedestrian pathway will be tricky due to construction work .
The girl at check in was lovely and helpful.
Mine 2-beds room was lovely and a good size. The bed was comfortable and the shower very hot and powerful. There was a flat-screen in the bedroom (but choice of free channels poor ) well as a small fridge, walk in closet big enough, tea & coffee making facilities, etc. The bathroom was a good size. I had an view of the street from my room.
I was provided with a free wifi code according to the company travel policy. But the regular cost is huge.
Breakfast is good, excellent pastry and salmon as well as the other food, but coffee is surprisingly disgusting. If you do stay at this property, don’t forget to visit the nearby Starbucks! Actually it’s the only place close to hotel to get a light meal without a risk getting food poisoning.
If you can afford the rates it's worth a stay!

I stayed here with friends for four nights in February 2010. The hotel is very old but generally well kept. I see many reviews complaining about the cost of this hotel but when compared to other hotels in Moscow it's very reasonable. You must realise that hotels in Moscow are incredibly expensive and unless you are willing to pay well over USD$1000 per night you will find flaws. The hotel itself is on once of Moscows main streets and a 25 minute walk to Red Square, however there is a subway station right nearby.

The room was great and quite large. The beds were super comfortable.

I fail to understand why hotels insist on leaving the heating on in the hotels to the point where you cannot sleep. On arrival the room was far too hot and when we returned that evening (after turning the heating off on arrival) we had to open the window to allow the freezing air to cool the room, which only took a few minutes as one can imagine Moscow in February. The elevator also had a mind of its own which was very frustrating. Dinner was Ok in the restaurant but nothing to get overly excited about. The breakfast however was great and very western which was a bonus.

The reception desk spoke great English and were always helpful, I'd stay here again next time for sure and would rate it great value for money (by Moscow standards)

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights in November 2011, pending transfer to long term accommodation in Moscow.

Pros: Helpful staff; excellent English spoken; attractive and stylish lobby area; great location (20 minutes walk to Red Square); safe ATM inside the hotel (this is important - ATM crime is a problem in Moscow); the breakfast was outstanding; the room was clean and attractive - though the furnishings and carpet were looking a little tired.

Cons: Given the sorry state of drinking water in Moscow, they might have supplied a bottle free. Instead we only discovered after opening it that what appeared to be a complementary bottle of water in the room actually cost the equivalent of $10US. Don't expect anything in this hotel to be free unless you know upfront that it is included in the price.
